Heather Burns Pozniak is an associate with the firm, concentrating her practice in civil/commercial litigation and transactions, collections, family law, general business representation, homeowner association and condominium representation, municipal law, and wills, trusts and estates. She received her undergraduate degree in Government & Law, with a minor in French, from Lafayette College. She is a graduate of the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, where she was the Articles/Source Editor for the Dickinson Journal of International Law (now known as the Penn State International Law Review) and a staff writer for the Dickinson Lawyer Magazine. Ms. Pozniak was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in 1997. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Chester County Bar Associations, serves as a Mediator for the Chester County Bar Association Fee Dispute Committee, and is a member of the Stively Inn of Court. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Pozniak served as law clerk to the Honorable Nitza I. Quiñones Alejandro of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, Civil Trial Division, Major Jury. Ms. Pozniak also served as a summer law clerk to the late Honorable James R. Cavanaugh of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and as an intern in the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
